Catching lightning
was difficult. Yesterday was a stormy night and I was trying to study for the test when few storms and lightnings kept striking but without any rain. I took my camera and tried to catch one or two good pictures.
Lacking any patience, I just used my camera in continuous mode and the fastest my camera could take was around one picture per second or maybe a bit faster, but it was still slow to catch any thunder. After 5-10 pictures I always stopped thinking what a silly stuff I was doing when in that 5-10 pictures everything was the same: pitch black dark sky. "Maybe I should stop" I thought to myself, then I paused and the lightning came.
This happened a few times.
I always think I'm stupid, as I always paused when my instinct said that the lightning was gonna come. But since it was instinct the mind (rational one) doubted my instinct since it was something unclear. "Oh shit, the lightning did came out.. Maybe I should trust my instinct".
In the end I had enough, not being able to take any pict, I used the camera in continuous mode for around 100sth pictures and really, although there were a bit lightning in between, you'd need luck so that the lightning would strike just as you shutter shuts. Otherwise, you need good camera that has better continuous shutter mode, or otherwise you'd need passion to wait till that luck come. None of them were there last night, nor luck, nor good camera, nor good passion, so too bad.. No lightning caught.
I'm also not sure of what is the lesson learnt but I just feel like posting this.. so yeah

My Current State of Mind:
Construction is a 3D industry (Dirty, Demanding, Dangerous), that's why there are less interest in that Industry, Shit, edwin got a burglar mouse, Hmmm hungry now, what should I eat? Kigatsuitenai.. kimi wa mada... (japanese song)... Oh shit, I'm just at lecture six.. Duh, let me check the past year paper to find the effective way of studying and what to be expected from the test... Hmm.. dammit, they are playing dota.. Ouch, Man Utd won, Thomas must be really disappointed.. Wonder did the rest tease thomas? hahaha.. Amai.. Amaiaiaiaiiii.. Boku no Koibito.. (Another Japanese song).. Oh I think he's gonna give one free question which you can do without reading the notes, just have to crap.. Swiss, Marble, white cheddar? White cheddar will guarantee your catch to be better, only less chance.. Maybe I should use target base.. With the different culture of Industry, functions and regions, mutual respect and understanding needs to be developed in order to reach an agreement among all parties, discourage stereotyping among different cultures and.. Hell yeah, Just fought 3 v 5 with AIs and my drow ranger got a clean sheet and 30sth kills!! Why can't it be that way when I match with real guys.. Oh no, forgot to submit my temperature reading.. Tsk, maybe I'll design the banner after my papers are finished; I wonder whether the freshmen would like to join again for the Dimsum Buffet? Yum cha or Zhou's kitchen? Shit, teddy is 6% above me now!! Thanks to the unworking bot and king's reward. Oh, great, I'll surely be able to met her at my last paper.. Probably that would be the last time for this semester. Errm.. Wtf Am I doing.. Oh, The Quality, Environment and Safety Management system, raised productivity for at least 6-10% or more, only incurring 1-5% extra cost.. Did anyone look for me in facebook? No? Okay.. Gyah... how to study for materials.. Maybe tomorrow after my Quality paper.. Dunno whether, got enough time or not.. Hmm what Anime should I watch during the hols? Mamoritaaaiiii... Tadaaa Mitsuketa.. sono egaoo.. (another japanese song)...Wow, I have a lot going on in my mine.. Hmm, with music cannot study well.. Darn.. All open book but these two last papers are closed book.. William's Theory of Life 1 - sequel
Now I've got a proof for the theory..
We are talking about luck here and I believe it does affect the results you get from computer generated randomness such as the Facebook application: MouseHunt..
Only me left without any zombie mouse neither pirate mouse. This is despite the fact that I check my trap everyday, as soon as I touches my computer, trying to figure out which best combination of cheese, traps and trap bases to be used, however, when your real luck isn't there, it just isn't...
too bad..
This is how real life goes though, no matter how diligent you are, if the goddess of fortune isn't smiling at you, that's too bad, really.. In real life, I feel kinda lucky though.. till this point.
