Well, yes, a basket ball game and then got to dinner.
A dark silhouette, two familiar ones holding hands together walking down the ramp near Residence 2 and I was going up the ramp just to reach canteen with Adit, Mike and Thomas.

"Shit! Don't go by the ramp!" I whispered in fast mode to one of those three.

I walked past them just like that.
Yeah, those two familiar figures were her and her 'girlfriend'.

Those two walking together and her holding her girlfriend's arm passionately has served as sufficient evidence they both are indeed in a relationship!

Well, I have no words to say, As a matter of fact indeed, I was hoping that everything was a lie. Up to just now, I'd take that now everything is real. Ermh..
Yes, I'm in a-"Omigosh, What have I been doing in this one and a half year? Being infatuated! To a girl which is not hetero!"-kind-of-situation.

Tsk.. there should be 7 angels in my life and I dunno whether to call this an angel or not anymore. 2 found, 3rd unsure, 4th has been a looooooooooooong dream.
3 and 4 might not count so I might have 5 more or if they count, I only have 3 more.
I don't know whether I really like her to the state of wanting to call her an angel. There are alot of girls out there but focusing on only one for so long is kinda special.
Or maybe it has been me craving for a girl all along until now.

Anyways, now it's back to William again. William who wants to forget her, and waiting to be struck by an angel fallen from the sky again. Bye William who liked a Vietnamese!

Gundam, Buy or don't buy?

Sian lah, Thomas went to buy gundam with Danny and didn't invite me to tag along.. Although it's true that I was sleeping, he could have called me. Two days ago we had a conversation about this Gundam Strike Freedom Lightning edition, and since I showed the lack of interest on it, this might indeed be a factor for him not jio-ing me..

"WOah, nong, your Gundam Freedom is nothing compared to this man.."
"Aiyah, don't be so cocky, go and buy one first then you tell me that"

Then suddenly yesterday, when I just woke up and went to R2 reading room.. Suddenly there's a big box of Gundam and I was showing my envy-with-awe so much because he bought the Gundam he talked about and I was never invited to tag along..

But suddenly a thought jabbed-in my mind an when I started thinking to buy a Gundam for me as well, probably the same model?

Why Buy?
1. It's a collectibles man! Lightning edition is a special edition! You don't see those that often, compared with normal gundams.
2. It's a 1/60 gundam, which means the size is quite big and it's really exciting to assemble one!!
3. I want to assemble gundam so badly, that's why people buy gundam: to assemble em..
4. I've got enough money to survive till i go back Indo.. A gundam will cost a lot but I still can survive if I buy it.
5. Something to brag about? Like adit's saint seiya! hahaha.. take photos and stuff..

REally? U wanna Buy? Think again
1. Thomas has been so economical on food.. Eat regular meals, avoid supper, snacks and canned drinks (unless free) and yet he's a scholarship student with so much money left in his bank account. A gundam doesn't hurt his economic condition. See how bad I spend on myself.
2. Gundam for what? waste of space? MAN, I live in a freakin dorm.. When I shift my luggages from a room to another it took ages! One more gundam is gonna make things worse.. And Gundam isn't not really that portable!
3. Value for money? After assemble, adore it for awhile and then that's it man! hahaha..
4. When I think about myself, I see myself as a person who can't take care of his things properly. Just look at the current condition of his possessions: Gundam, Laptop, Printer, Room, Handphone -.- Buying Gundam = waste of money!

So, maybe after the oppositive points have been defeated, then it's time to buy a Gundam! muhahahahahahahahaa... I shall not waste my money yet.. Or maybe I'll check and Indo and if it's cheaper, thomas's gonna be jealous like hell!! MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Plurking?

Hmm.. Lately, Plurk has been popular among the Freshmen group.. I think it was because of dank's invitation to Plurk.. Don't know what Dank is thinking, invite freshmen never invite us, I was invited by the freshmen.. ckckck.. so bad..

But yeah, we started as members and "interact" around the webbie, I myself find it addictive. Though the concept is just simple. Just announce something and people will comment on things you announced. More friends and page updating, announcing and commenting will get you Karma and after certain level of Karma, you'll be able to access more and more options like more smiley, more features, etc.

Yeah, I did say addictive, provided you in the plurk with you friend and your friends are eager to reply your comments, which triggers you to reply again to their comments as well. However, as days past, after the scheduling exam that I had, and after a lot of DotA games, Gunbound, etc. etc, I don't have time to plurk and the message just become more and more, and it feels so lazy to read all em and reply to all of em.

Anyways, it's kinda of boring now, and I start to think that plurk is one way to show that how much you need an attention from your peers. The more you plurk shows the more how insecure you are or how much you want to be heard... It sounds a bit annoying, but that's what I think.. Just like blogging (that's why I blog a lot when I want to heard)

PF3201- continuation

Quoted Mike where he quoted from the show, the Big Bang Theory:

So yeah,
I can't be less prepared for PF3201 and to make it worse,
it's the dammnn sore throat which make me super uncomfortable.
Sore throat is just like humans, when the sore throat has occupied a new "home", there will be housewarming party and its friends will come to visit, which in this case is flu and cold.

Up till now since around a week ago, I've spent 3 packs of 200 sheets of tissue, now I'm "consuming" the 4th pack!
Since I knew that I won't be able to make it without any tissue inside the examination venue, I bought myself tissue in small packs, you know, the ones with around 10 sheets inside, just to make sure that I won't be using dimension paper (paper for taking off in measurement) to wipe my nose and phlegm.. used up at least 6 packs of tissue during exam! -.-

Back to the quote in the heading of this post, being unhealthy is one of the things that went wrong! I can't blame it on the flu or dannish who bought us the subway cookie which triggered the sore throat, but the blame's on to myself who failed to keep myself in a healthy lifestyle in this period!
Second thing that went wrong? It's the exam itself. Everyone wasn't expected that STEELWORK will be tested. Yes, STEELWORK and solely only STEELWORK, lecture 1.
Even in tutorial, we only covered the e-measurement, BASEMENT AND SWIMMING POOL, CANAL and MnE!! Wtf, something she only covered in the first lecture but final was only from that thing! There wasn't even any answer key for you to check on the notes that she gave earlier in the semester.

What's worse? why do I have only 4 modules this semester? Outbidded for my own core modules and PF3201 MEASUREMENT 2 was one of them. I appealed to the department and got the module on Wednesday or Thursday week 1 where the first lecture, yes, it's STEELWORK, was on Tuesday! There's no webcast or anything.. yeah, so I was kinda confident to try out the exam question except only for this dammnn STEELWORK!!

Weird dream

Before today, I just had a very weird dream..
I was dreaming:
I was on a plane, with my friends towards somewhere..
And the suddenly out of the blue I was already lying on the floor with my friends. I stood up and came to know that there's been a plane accident and 4 people were dead..
I also came to know that my parents received a news that me along with my friends were dead of plane crash, but then, despite those, feeling alive, I tried to contact my parents, to assure them that their son was still alive.

From that scene, I felt that I need to rush back to obtain any communication device so I can call back to my parents. So somehow, with my friends following me, I rushed back to my room.
The scene was weird, like a old flat that you see in hongkong movies.. The elevator with steel gates, and we were waiting so long for the lift then me and one of my friend decided to take a leak. The toilet was nearby. Halfway to the toilet, the other friends who didn't come along shouted for us, indicating that the elevator was already there so we hold the urge and rushed back to the elevator.

At the base floor, somehow one of my friends separated from us when she sees her relatives/whatever waiting for her and they were hugging each other so happily, as if she's implying the message "I'm alive!! I'm back!! Great to see you!!!"

So the rest, me and my friends went out the building and it was a scene that was so foreign to us..
"What the hell? We are in Singapore right? My friend who left us just now is a Singaporean, so here should still be in Singapore" I think to myself.

So we somehow, got our asses back to a place which resembled a dorm but also looked like a flat..
I don't know for what reason, I took the emergency stairs and my other friends, except for one guy, went back..
"Hey, going by the stairs also?"
"Yeah, I think I forgot my keys, geez, I stay in level 25 somemore.."
"Yeah, bad for you" (I dunno why I was not surprised when he said he stayed in level 25, taking stairs and PGP has only up to level 13 the tallest)

Then after I reached my level, I couldn't open the fire escape door..
"Holy crap, it's locked!!"
"Hey mine's locked too!!" my friend shout from above.

Suddenly I heard a familiar voice..
"Hey, William what are you doing over there, hop over, We are having a party!"
It was my cousin from Medan! Wtf was he doing there, and then I saw the gang he's normally with..
"Oh, it's my friend's birthday party!!"
Then, without any hesitation, I was doing some movie stance hopping from one building's exposed escape stairs to a nearby building's balcony. Not to mention, the scene suddenly went so classic again.

Somehow (I tell ya, there're lots of somehow because you know, it's a dream! You jump into one scene and another illogically), I got back into my room, had my handphone and tried to call my parents and somehow I couldn't.
I went out, saw my friends rushing somewhere and I decided to follow

"Haven't you noticed it yet? We are already dead!" Said one of my friend.
"We are? I feel so alive!" I said.
"See your handphone, there's something on there, we are heading towards the address the handphone's showing"

Again, another flat? Geez..
The scene is boring I know.. But it was again another flat.. We went it and my friend explained to me, that it's like a game where the objective is to reach the top.
"so what? If we reach the top, we are going to be reborn again? or ressurected again"
Without obtaining any answer, we proceeded to the building.
It was like a puzzle building, and somehow we were seperated into rooms.
Suddenly a question come out on the wall. So weird, it was like a picture of a group of pokemons gathered together, then we were asked to distinguish which group is incorrect. It was just crafted there and the words on top of the picture says level 4.
A staircase appeared suddenly and I proceed to level four, like a common floor and that's where me and my friends met again.

"Yeah, so that's how the game like. And now we are gonna reach to the top! I know because I've played a similar game before" My friend said.
Everyone were to proceed to their own staircases that they came from and I was expecting more silly questions like that and I was going to ask my friend what if we had guessed wrongly.

But suddenly I woke up and was back into reality again.
Going to face PF3201 and yes.. that was how the dream like..

You know, the usage of the word can't (be) more sth sth/ can't sth sth more.. is kinda of common.
For instance..

"I can't agree more with you! You are so correct.."

Meaning you are in the maximum state of agreeing with someone that you can't agree more.


Now we are going to learn new grammatical sentence, similar one.
just change the more to the less to get the opposite meaning

"I can't be less prepared for my PF3201 Measurement 2!"

Meaning, I've been slaaaacking so much that I cannot be even more unprepared..

Sleep duration

I just told this to Aldooooo and he told me to blog it.
I realized this like few months ago but I'm always unhappy if I am to be awaken or to wake up in after sleeping a number of hours which sums up to odd number.
So I'm only happy to wake up, after sleeping for:
4 hrs ===> rushing for assignment deadlines? exams? Played dota too much and rushing for class in the next morning. ;)
6 hrs ===> normal hectic days
8 hrs ===> normal weekends
10 hrs ===> too busy and worn out in the previous day and sleep a lot of in the next day.

12 is too much and 2 is too little..

3 hrs ===> wake up and damm pissed! I WANT TO SLEEP MORE!! Happens when Residents complains in the middle of the night.. normally accompanied by cold/flu because of not having enough sleep.
5 hrs ===> wake up and feels unhappy.. sometimes also cold/flu, partially the contributor of the unhappiness..
7 hrs ===> just a bit unhappy
9 hrs ===> for no occasion sleeping too long makes me unhappy
11 hrs ===> wake up you sleep pig!! rather than sleeping so long, just go and play dota.. more fun.. wake up with a dizzy head

It's about state of mind.. state of mind

Actually to be frank,
I start to reminisce the angels from the past.
Wondering how stupid I was and wanting to go back to the past.

I should have at least tried one relationship so that I would have had a sweet memory from high school that I could have shared in the later parts of my life. Same case for university, Another 3 semesters or my youth is screwed!!!

I know life is not about getting into relationship and be so crazy about it but.. As that Indian fella told us about himself "hey man, I'm only given one life and I'm going to enjoy it carefully man!"

Getting into relationships doesn't guarantee you any fun but not getting into them, when you are so craving for them guarantees you totally no fun.
Well, back again to actions and decision: Too bad, I did what I did, I didn't do what I could have done and I did what I could have not done.. And here I am trying so hard to forget about a girl, yet wanting so badly not to forget about that girl. Here I am being in a state of mind thinking that that girl is actually is not significant, all William wants is just getting into relationship, but in the other way round, William also thinks that it wouldn't count if it's not her.

wtf am I mumbling about

Forgetting her is difficult.
Erm.. Yeah, her statement was not really acceptable.
I'm aware that in this modern era, heterosexuality doesn't apply anymore to more people.
But OUT OF SO MANY GIRLS OUT THERE!!! why her?

Better looking girls are more likely to get into un-heterosexual (lolz) relationship as compared to less better looking girls

Percentage of V*etnamese girls getting into un-heterosexual (lolz) relationship is higher as compared to Indonesian girls? Is culture a variable here?

Indonesians are easier to be fooled/bluffed/deceived?

I was just going asleep, at about 1am or 1.30am where I decided to clean R6's water container which was kept inside my room. Two South Asian guys, my cluster mate, one Srilangkan from Medicine and one north Indian from Mechanical Engineering.

Somehow I got into their conversation. So they were talking about Hindi movies, yeah, Bollywood and the dark ages of Bollywood which they told me where it was around the eighties to the late nineties. Where you've got that image of a couple chasing each other in a grass field or a hill and move around the trees and sing, dance and fall in love.
They were making fun of the Bollywood also despite the fact that Bollywood had been one of the great aspects of their entertainment life. But that's the way the movies were: ridiculous, and no one could agree more.
But they did mention though, that they actually have couples of good movies.
Then they started mentioning about Hindi TV series which they say is more crappy than Hindi movies!!
Then after that was on to Indian festive events and how Indian the Srilangkan was, because the Srilangkan was so much on to Bollywood, Indian general knowledge, Indian geographical knowledge, and about his indian accent of English and him gathering around Indians in NUS.
Then they were to relate the Indian festive events to the Hindi movies again.

I can't remember the sequence, but probably this is how I got into their conversation: they mentioned about religion - which is of course as always, the most interesting issues to touch on - and apparently the Indian's a Hindu and the Srilangkan's a Buddhist.

Somehow the conversation became lengthy and the topic moved on to their romance lifes. These people were sharing the best times of their life, and talking about their relationships and I was more of a listener. They were talking so in a very fast pace and so eagerly about that topic!
The Indian in the conversation and in personality, has always been the opposite of the Srilangkan, but they were chatting so lively and all till I couldn't stop paying attention!

The Indian, is a person who goes into flings/brief relationships, enjoying his time of his life before getting having to get serious, in fact he is afraid of serious relationship - as he described.
While the Srilangkan, won't go into any relationship unless he's really serious about the girl and considered all things, like whether he will hurt anyone in the relationships he's gonna into.
A typical pair with different ends and again, the Indian is called as "open" and the Srilangkan was "so Indian" according to the Indian.
But either way, they were discussing about their relationship, a thing that I have never had, and this is why I was mostly a listener.

Well, the chat went as far as their date experiences, What did they do, how did they fall in love and how did they got into their relationships and how they ended them.

Yeah, so we stopped chatting, when we realized that it was already 5am.. 4 and a half hour chatting with two guys I don't talk to so often. And so glad I was in their conversation..

The thing is it just shows how boring that my life has been and deep down me is mocking myself for being so dead. "Hey William, go date some girl and get a life will ya? See how embarrasing it is to have never been in a relationship before?"
Is it about culture or about courage? Hmm, I won't share story about love right now but I did got close with one or two angels but, "being close" was as far as I've ever gotten till this period of life;

My life is so dry.... and I think it's not getting anywhere..

I wish I can copy paste the conversation, but maybe not.. Not the conversation but just the summary.
The girl I've been liking up till now, counting up to 3 semesters already, is in serious relationship with her best friend, another girl.
She told me that the BG relationship she had, was a "for-fun" relationship..
She was never a girl with a normal orientation in the first place, that's what she told me..

@Teddy, I don't know which stage I'm in anymore but I'm so shaky inside my mind here. I wish not to believe but she sounds so real. It's only an instant messaging chat where people can just lie about everything..

My belief tells me that she is aware that a lot people, including me, likes her, and she's just waiting for a right guy and making up these lies.
Another point of belief of mine is that she's speaking of nothing but the truth, and I shall respect her whatever decision and trust that my liking to her, has no point and I should just stop and get a life.
Another point of belief of mine is the same of above, but I shall not respect this fact and I shall believe, someday she will change and that's where I shall go in and have myself a chance again.

I don't know what I'm trying to achieve here.. I'm confused..

Sometimes I think I should stop. My friends who come to my room told me that I'm too obsessed to her already. Well, it's due to nothing other than her pictures I paste at the board beside my desk.

Lately, I've been seeing lots of people who haven't seen me for quite a long of time.. And they were like "Gosh, William!! have you lost weight? you are so different"
To fake it out I always tell them "Oh really?" or "Oh, maybe it's my hair" but deep inside it's "Yay!!! Do I?? Do I look thinner now?"
And to celebrate this I ate a lot and got the fat again.. Geez..

Jyukai (樹海)

we all know that it's quite rare for us to like a certain artist, or music band unless they are quite famous like the indo Peter Pan, or the japanese L'arc en Ciel, or Linkin Park or any other musicians. The keyword here is famous. They were so famous that they rocked so much that they are famous not only for one single or two, which is the trend of current world: famous because only of one single.

Anyways, I those were my favourite and now I find a new favourite musician. The name? it's on the title of the post. Yeah, a japenese duet, basically just consisting of two members and I knew them from the Anime Fate Stay Night.
Well, at first it's still like normal anime song. But after hearing more and more, I'm like drowned!!
The group actually consists only of two member, one vocalist, a girl and one musician/programmer, a guy. The girl is actually just 3 years older than me and there she is, sounding herself all over Japan already, like since two years ago!
I'm ♥♥♥infatuated♥♥♥, not by her look, it's not like she's that cute or pretty, but her voice just can't stop ringing in my mind. The very unique voice color of hers is like: "UGHH!! I wanna her more, so typical Japanese pop singer" Have I told you that I like Utada hikaru songs? probably because of the same reason, utada herself is not that cute either. lolz..
The guy, he's the one who composes the music and the girl, the lyrics..
The guy, is also quite good since I like the singles not only because of the vocalist's voice but also the tune that of the songs that this guy composes.

I have at least listened to 6 singles of theirs and I love all of em..

so we (me and my project mates) were working on a project which had consumed me throughout the week..
like from Tuesday, I've always been in school from around 10 - 11am and only reach home after 10pm everyday just to meet up to finish this measurement project.

This project, of a weightage of 16%, asked us to do the things that were never thought in the class. So that was one of our the factors that made us spend quite a lot of time on this project. And when we were to ask for clarification from the Teacher, she responded, "it's a mini project, everything you have to assume yourself and this is where your discretion counts. If I was to answer your doubts, your marks will be deducted". And so, from her words, we decided to depend everything on our own.

So, as a result everyone were so blur and this phrase, "I don't know" became so popular in my ear, though the others might not be aware of it. This phrase showing the uncertainty or blankness of the mind, lurked in everyone's head, including my own's.

How to measure this? "I don't know"

Should we include the lightings though we don't have the drawings? "I don't know"

So what's the diffuser which is not connected to the duct for? "I don't know"

Then, which heading the circuit breakers falls under? electrical plant or control gear? "I don't know"

So many "I don't know" that you hear in a day and after that you are so aware of that phrase everytime u expect an answer from someone.

This case is still during our project discussion.

Another 10 hour meeting yesterday...
It was really really tiring.. plus meeting for skit..
then later in the morning meeting at 10am and class the whole day till 8pm, then after that meeting for measurement again. woaaaaah...
This sem I only have 4 modules but meetings and meetings are burning me out. Luckily RA job has quieted down.
Now only left with Measurement 2, Japanese, Scheduling and Cyberia!
HR Exam's next week omg..

it all started with the BIG BANG THEORY!!
hahahhahhahaha.
This show is hilarious, seriously..
funnier for those who had finished high-school in science stream, even funnier for people who are in engineering faculty of physics department at science faculty or star-trek fan or what ever, I don't watch starwars, lotr, nor star-trek.

Anyways, after watching this kind of show, watching the slow pace talking, everyday drama seems really really boring, it's not like I can catch all what the "Sheldon", which is supposedly the smartest, the fastest talker, the least considerate of the gang, is saying without their subtitles.. He's like the main character of the show and he's always the most hilarious one.

However, I think gintama, the anime is funnier, it's the crazy parodies that make it so funny. I wonder how the anime survive or the other anime producers never sued this anime because it's too funny? Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, One piece, death note, until the unexpected ones like even romeo and juliet is parodied. Maybe there are more but it's just that we don't have that much of knowlegde of what being parodied, so If we had had it, it might be even crazier hahaha..

Geez, I'm like talking to myself... But it's fun to watch smart-y fart-y funny shows like these..

/me welcomes himself to his world of blogging, at last, typing his keyboard with the "NEW POST" page.
Hmm.. back again to last time's presentation. Well, mike suggested that I find a solution for my stage fright, you know, when your throat or nostrils feel clogged and being that uncomfortable, it makes you want to vomit. It's either the nervousness gas inside your stomach or the nervousness phlegm.

Anyways, it's already one week but we had my HR presentation right the day after the presentation I just mentioned down here a week ago. But been so occupied with lotsa things so a bit lazy to blog it out.
Anyways, with the help of warm water to 'cool' me off, I managed to deliver my presentation. Sometimes I want to laugh at myself: it's just a freaking 15 minute-presentation and my part is only like 3-4 minutes! Why should I be nervous? still it's just there.

But I delivered my part, my opinion, which is quite easy to understand which I couldn't have had much difficulty in delivering it. Well, the presentation just went so-so, and yeah, it was over!

The interesting thing about HR is that every time a group finishes their presentation, there will be peer reviews from the other groups. So yeah, we were reviewed by all of the other groups and reading their comments are quite interesting. You'd see different point of views, some people say good things and some people don't but those were indeed constructive.
