Best and Worst

This article/piece of writing is meant for sharing of insights by myself, as a first timer to a working like. This, by no means is intended to portray any image, whether misleading or not, to the company (defined as the entity employing myself as their employee), nor to disclose any information which may cause the aforementioned to occur, nor to disclose any information which will cause the company distress, loss or damages. In fact no name of any company has been or will be mentioned on this post.

I just don't want to stop complaining, and yet I can't be thankful enough for this job: cause it's the two ends of a possibility, the best and worst.

Now let's start with the bad part of course like how they start with "bad news" in movies.

Who has, during the term of your probation period, as youngest in the office, been the last one to go back from the office and have just enjoyed 3 days off (just 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday) in 3 weeks which contains two days of public holiday within the period. Let's of course narrow the scope by comparing me only with fresh graduates and fresh job-entrants. Long hours part time not counted.

Of course noting the term in the employment contract clause that probation period is a period for the company to assess your performance, however also implying that it is the same opportunity for you to evaluate whether it's the right company for you.

Well, here's the good part:

With the same condition (during probation period, youngest in the office), comparing especially with my peers of the same Bsc. (PFM) degree, it is quite likely that that none have gone through meetings of high importance with all these important people, in a very very formal setting.
(I apologize for the ridiculous simplification, I shall not go to details, or case or even what kind of meeting is that due to the confidentiality, of course you can refer to the disclaimer as above, which of course by reasonable means would have been brought to the attention prior to reading this piece of writing).
Meeting involving engineering experts from overseas, accompanied with lawyers: that kind of formal setting. The one that you won't attend unless you own the company, or you are the MD/GM/PM/lawyers/or other experts or someone significant enough, that level of formality.

Of course literally I am not contributing anything to the meeting (probably very little in terms of some very very trivia stuff, not in form of speech, but just a support from those doing those things during the bad times mentioned above) but it has been, and will probably be once a life time experience and I wouldn't have happened to be exposed to this kind of setting if I had picked up the previous job offers. Thank God!

Let's hope that for the years to come, it will be even more enriching and exciting.
